Although we don't want to use the 'W' word the winter months are approaching & our resident animals will spend more time in their houses, hutches & stables, which means that the amount of hay and straw that we get through for them is immense. We spend approximately £3,400 annually on hay and straw for the resident animals in our care.
We are therefore running our ‘Buy a Bale’ scheme again which helps us to support our resident animals in this way over the winter period whilst helping to free up our already stretched funds to allow us to continue helping more animals that need our care over the upcoming season.

We have already had a few trips out, with some of our very dedicated volunteers to get bales straight off the farmers fields, because although quite labour intensive for us, it does reduce the cost per bale considerably for us.
